Some fun, possibly not well-known, facts about Steve:  He took up golf after retiring from Chrysler Corp. (as a boiler operator at Trenton Engine Plant) and improved quite rapidly (a little to Charmaine’s chagrin).  Steve was a very good pool player and expert at backgammon.  Bicycling was a pastime he enjoyed and, being the utterly unselfconscious guy he was, he would ride around his neighborhood shirtless, his long hair flowing behind, his belly protruding a bit in front and, unbeknownst to Steve, the neighborhood kids dubbed him “King Neptune.”   His talents also included knowing the lyrics to loads of early doo wop and rock ‘n roll songs….it was really quite impressive.  Steve was totally smitten with and delighted by his young granddaughters, Kallie and Ava.
